Jeddah Tower passes 466 metres at about 116 floors

Jeddah Tower reached about 116 floors, roughly 466 metres, in September 2026, after adding about 42 floors in 10 months. Construction resumed in January 2025 after a halt in 2018, under a SAR 7.2 billion contract with Saudi Binladin Group, and completion is now expected in late 2028.

WHY IT MATTERS

Let me explain

The project is developed by Jeddah Economic Company and designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill, with a target height of more than 1,000 metres. Adding about 42 floors in 10 months after the 2018 halt shows what a sustained construction pace on a supertall core looks like in practice.
